Susan Renfrew Named 2014 Recipient of the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® Public Policy and Property Rights Advocacy Award

MAR announced that Susan M. Renfrew, broker and co-owner of Renfrew Real Estate in Greenfield, has been named the 2014 recipient of the MAR Public Policy and Property Rights Advocacy Award. Renfrew received the award at the Association’s annual REALTOR® Day on Beacon Hill event that took place at the Massachusetts State House on June 11, 2014.

Renfrew was the 2008 president of the Massachusetts association of REALTORS®, and is currently a MAR Director. She has served on numerous committees at MAR over the years, including Government Affairs. She is also currently a member of the Audit and Personnel Committees and the Building, Member Mobilization, and Structural Audit Task Forces. In 2002 she was presented with the Milton H. Shaw Distinguished Service Award.

She is a member of the NAR Board of Directors, and Immediate Past Chair of the NAR State and Local Issues Mobilization Committee. She was also a member of the REALTOR® Party Commercial Work Group and the Public Advocacy Advisory and Smart Growth Program Advisory Groups.

Renfrew is a REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC) Sterling “R” and RPAC Major Investor.
