Today we released the results of our monthly REALTOR(R) Market Index (RMI) and Price Index (RPI). The January RPI was up from December, which is the second straight month-to-month gain. On a year-over-year basis, the index was down from the same time last year. The PRI was down both from the month before and January 2010.
This month’s “Hot Topic” question asked REALTOR(R) member about the impact the snow in January will have on their businesses in the next months.

Here are the highlights:
- REALTOR® Market Index was 21.1. Up 8% from December
- REALTOR® Market Index was down 38% from same time last year
- REALTOR® Price Index was 46.67. Down 2.17% from November
- REALTOR® Price Index was down 5.86% from same time last year
